PTSA

Welcome to the 2024 -2025 school year!

The MacDonald High School Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) has big plans to enrich the school experience for students, staff, and families this year. In addition to the events we’ve held in the past, like the Staff Appreciation Luncheon and our Volunteer Fair, we are planning a Senior Send-Off party for our very first graduating class in 2026. To accomplish all our goals, we are holding fundraisers including the opportunity to make a Direct Donation to the PTSA.  No family is obligated to donate and any amount is appreciated.  We have a goal of raising $7,000 this year and here’s how you can help:

Make sure you are signed up for Parent Square to receive messages about events and opportunities:

Make a donation using Totem. Click “Join Now” and select “Make a Donation”:

Look into Corporate Matching. Check with your HR representative or search your company’s charity portal. MacDonald High School PTSA is registered with Benevity, and we are a tax-exempt nonprofit organization. Our tax ID is 92-1093242.

Reflections Contest 2024-25 is now open!

MacDonald HS-PTSA is excited to launch Reflections 2024-25! Reflections is an arts recognition program from the National PTA, where students’ original theme-based art can be recognized on multiple levels – from their schools, to their districts, to state, and perhaps even to the national level! Last year, one of your fellow Condors received the Award of Merit for Dance Choreography at the CA State level!

This year’s theme is “Accepting Imperfection. ” We invite all Condors to find inspiration, explore and interpret the theme creatively in any of the 6 categories:

  • Dance Choreography
  • Film production
  • Literature
  • Music Composition
  • Photography
  • Visual Arts (Students may choose to enter in the Accessible Arts Division if they are eligible.)

Students can submit any number of artwork in any number of categories.

Deadline for entries is October 18.
