Counseling Department

The Counseling Department at MacDonald High School, located in the Welcome Center, includes three School Counselors, two Counseling Secretaries, our College and Career Center Advisor, and the Registrar.

Office Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM

Students are assigned to a school counselor based on their last name to ensure consistent and personalized support throughout high school.

How to Make an Appointment

Student Drop-In Hours

School counselors are available for student drop-ins before school, during lunch, and after school.

Schedule a Student Appointment

Students may request an appointment by:

Stopping by the Counseling Office, or
Emailing the Counseling Secretaries

School counselors make every effort to meet with students within 1-3 school days of a request, or as soon as possible if the student indicates they are in crisis.

Schedule a Parent/Guardian Appointment

Parent and guardian drop-in meetings are not available. Please schedule an appointment in advance. To meet with your student's school counselor, contact our counseling secretaries by phone or email.
